Welcome to Ancienne Ecole...

... a guest house in the heart of Gascony. Formerly a farm, then the village school, Ancienne Ecole has retained its beams, and terracotta floor tiles, creating a welcoming setting for your stay. From the terrace, a magnificent view of the Pyrenees reinforces the feeling of being in a rural village in the heart of France, far from the hustle and bustle of the town.

Our bed and breakfast near Marciac is ideally located for visiting the Gers: close to the Jazz in Marciac festival, with easy access to verdant countryside, cultural and historical heritage sites and the renowned cuisine of south-west France.

Our guests enjoy exploring, cultural excursions, eating well, and then returning to a peaceful and comfortable environment. Contact us for more details on booking a stay and enjoying all the flavours of the Gers.

Rural tranquility

The Gers is known for its gentle countryside, winding country roads, and breathtaking views of the Pyrenees on clear days. Numerous walking and cycling routes pass through fields, forests, and small medieval villages. Wildlife is abundant, and the changing seasons transform the scenery from vibrant summer greens to golden autumn days. A stay at our bed and breakfast near Marciac gives visitors the opportunity to explore this peaceful, bucolic environment all year round.

Comfort and simplicity

We have four rooms (three with double beds and one with two single beds) available all year round. All our rooms are equipped with an en suite bathroom and free Wi-Fi. Private parking is free.

Start the day with homemade bread, cakes, biscuits and yoghurt, and jam made with fruit from our orchard.
